2009 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC


Powerhouse was the official Asian-American Marketing Agency for the 2009World Baseball Classics. Powerhouse executed a strategic marketing campaign targetingAsian-American communities and contributed to the Major League Baseball'srecord-breaking attendance in 2009. Successful planning and devotion broughtcommunities together and a renewed excitement for baseball in the Asiancommunity.

In addition to PR and marketing consultation, Powerhouse coordinated Asianmedia relations and targeted ticket sales for the 2009 Classics. The Asianmedia partnership forged by Powerhouse created the perfect marketing foundationfor community outreach. Also, Powerhouse effectively carried out anadvertisement campaign starting from creative development to timely schedulingof ad runs. Targeted ticket sales for Asian communities also contributed toincreased ticket sales and participation that ultimately resulted in a recordsales revenue for the Major League Baseball.
